Why study an online career
As time progresses, rate universities realize that the future of education passes through the Internet. Without a doubt, with this type of training, there are many advantages. Not only is the distance barrier broken, saving hours of travel or having to leave the family home. The continuity of the studies is also ensured despite unforeseen events that may arise. For example, during the coronavirus pandemic, all face-to-face classes had to be suspended. However, those people who are studying online have not seen their schedule affected, being able to continue their training.

The interest of studying online in Mexico
A study carried out by the Internet Association in Mexico has shown that young people in the country show more and more interest in online studies. It is true that although only 13% of those surveyed had completed this type of training, 45% saw it as a good option.
Among the reasons for deciding on distance studies were flexible hours, having virtual tutorials, having a learning platform at any time and, finally, having a study plan that was focused on the labor market.
Another very important factor to take into account is that studying online generally makes it easier to have a job while you carry out your studies. That was the case for 67% of the people surveyed.
If you finally decide to study online there are some computer requirements that you should take into account. The most important thing is that you have a computer that is not too old and a good Internet connection. Personally, we do not recommend that you use a cell phone as you will feel much more limited. In short, basically this is what you will need:
- Broadband Internet connection. Starting at 5 megabytes should be enough.
- Web camera to interact in classes and tutorials.
- Headphones or speakers. If your computer is portable, you probably have them integrated.
- A microphone to be able to speak.
Finally, we would like you to tell us about your experience whether you are thinking about studying an online degree, or if you are already doing it. What positive things would you highlight?
