The Royal Spanish Mathematical Society indicates that the transversality of Mathematics, coupled with the boom that technology, artificial intelligence and data analysis are experiencing in all areas of the economy, means that graduates in this area have greater job opportunities in economic sectors that previously did not take them into account. For example, marketing companies and those related to logistics and transportation now require experts in data analysis and Big data, like mathematicians, to make strategic decisions.
